The Solowheel weighs only 12kg so you can take it with you anywhere: into a shop, on a lift, into your office, onto a bus, or into your classroom. It eliminates the faff of chaining your bike up to a bike rack along with others where it may get damaged or even stolen. Wave goodbye to parking charges for good!
Externally, the Solowheel consists of a wheel and two foot platforms. The gyro-sensor inside the Solowheel detects angle changes to maintain balance. Lean forward to go forward, and backwards when you want to slow down or stop. You can ride for 24-32Km at 16km/h and the lithium-ion battery can be fully recharged in approx 45-60 minutes. Like Hybrid cars, the battery recaptures energy when going downhill or slowing down.
