Troubleshooting for Semi-Conductor Breathalysers
It won't turn on.
The battery may be low. Try a new set of Alkaline batteries.

Unit displays with 3 LED lights.
The unit has locked up due to a software, battery or calibration issue. Please send your breathalyser to andatech for calibration with this link.
Readings are higher than normal or otherwise inaccurate.
The mouthpiece may be dirty. Try sterilising the mouthpiece in hot water, or try a new mouthpiece. Make sure you are also blowing gently, and just enough for the unit to stop making a beep sound. Otherwise, the unit may be due for a calibration. Please send your breathalyser to andatech for calibration with the instructions in this link.
Unit says "Bat"
Battery power is low. Try putting some new alkaline batteries into the unit.
Unit says "Flo"
The unit did not receive enough air flow. Try using the unit again. Blow gently and when you hear the beep, continue to blow until the beep stops.
Unit says "Sen"
The sensor is damaged. Please send your breathalyser to andatech for calibration with the instructions in this link.
Unit says "CaL"
The unit is due for calibration. Please send your breathalyser to andatech for calibration with the instructions in this link.
Unit says "FSr"
The unit is in Fast mode. Press and hold the button to switch to Normal mode.
Unit says "nor"
The unit is in Normal mode. Press and hold the button to switch to Fast mode.
Reading always 0.00
Make sure that you use the correct mouthpieces and blow into the unit as gently as possible and maintain the beep until the beep stops.
If the unit is still reading 0.0. the sensor is either not responding or due for calibration. Please send your breathalyser to andatech for calibration with the instructions in this link.
Countdown sequence taking too long (40 seconds or more).
Batteries may not have enough power. Try some new Alkaline batteries. Do not use rechargeables as the voltage is less than new alkalines. If the countdown sequence is still too long, there may be a sensor error. Please send your breathalyser to Andatech for calibration with this link.
