Andatech is humbled to be picked as a finalist again in this year’s Australian Small Business Champion Awards in the Specialised Small Business Category.
Andatech was a finalist for the award in 2017 as well but missed out on winning the award. However, with our recent achievements, contributions and increasingly positive feedback from customers and the community, we are confident of our chances of winning this year’s award.
“We are honoured to be selected as a finalist in the Australian Small Business Champion Awards again this year,” says director, Irwandy Tan.
At Andatech, we pride ourselves on upholding our values in everything that we do. Excellence, Innovation, and Nurture are the three core values that define our business. Our focus is on improving health, safety and quality of life using new technologies and systems, such as with our breathalysers, calibration management plans, and My Andatech portal for customers.
More recently, we have been introducing new ways to improve customer experience and satisfaction with our products and services, and the positive customer feedback that we receive has become a driving force behind our success.
“To be a finalist in this award is a testament to the vision, planning and hard work we’ve invested into Andatech,” Mr Tan added.
The Australian Small Business Champion Awards is a comprehensive program that supports and recognises small businesses across Australia.
The Awards originated in 1999 as the NSW Small Business Champion of Champion Awards, which were highly successful.
In 2007, the Awards expanded to all states and territories in Australia. Thus, the Australian Small Business Champions Awards program was conceived.
Today, the Australian Small Business Champions Awards have grown into the flagship program recognising Australian Small Business excellence.
The Awards is a great program that recognises the achievements of outstanding small businesses from all states and territories across Australia, and the Australian Small Business Champions Awards program was conceived.
The judging process includes the involvement of around thirty individuals from different industries who review the entries to determine the category winners. Judges come from a wide variety of backgrounds, including government representatives, association representatives, university lecturers, accountants, marketers, shopping centre representatives and small business people.
In a welcome message on the Awards website, The Hon Michael McCormack MP, Federal Minister for Small Business, says:
“Employing more than 4.7 million Australians, the nature of small business in Australia is vast and diverse. The sector is what drives our country’s economy and gives millions of Australians their first start – and often, their career – in the workforce. ”
The 2018 Champions winners will be announced at The Star Event Centre, on Saturday, 21st April. The evening is the ultimate celebration for Australian Small Business featuring leading Australian entertainment, fine dining and drinks all set in a spectacular “Oscars” atmosphere.
We hope to announce some good news on that night. Until then, fingers crossed!
